About the Book

In this book, author and professional engineer Dale Edwin Loewen combines over three decades of project management experience with biblical wisdom to teach Christian faith-based non-profit organizations how to manage projects effectively. Through practical insights and real-life examples, Dale explores how the concept of “project” applies to ministry work and provides step-by-step direction on how to apply proven project management principles in a way that honours God and serves others.

From the importance of leading people with care to the necessity of thorough project planning, Dale offers clear strategies for navigating the unique challenges faced by Christian organizations. With practical tools for executing, controlling, and completing projects, this book is an essential resource for faith-based leaders who are seeking to maximize their impact and faithfully manage their resources.

"I’ve urged Dale Loewen for several years to finish this book, all for selfish reasons: I need it. But now that I see it in finished form, my altruism has awakened: you need it, too. Every church and non-profit I know needs it. Dale’s clear, wise, practical, comprehensive guide to managing any project, large or small, start to finish, is like having a top-drawer consultant at your beck and call (and all for the price of a medium pizza). But Dale also brings to the task his considerable skills as storyteller and Bible teacher. The result is a book to be savored as much for its spiritual richness as for its wealth of practical wisdom."
